margaritas: the new endangered species

ok. so it's actually tequila that's becoming endangered...but you put tequila in margaritas so...

yes. it's true. apparently, farmers in mexico are burning fields in which they grew blue agave from which you get tequila to instead grow corn to meet the ethanol demands of the united states.

and i thought the price of meat was going to be an issue.
